Behind the Hive - Our System Implementation Journey

Corindi consultation continues

Integration and flexibility were the big topics of conversation during on-site consultation at Corindi this week. The Northern NSW Berry farm is one of Costa's largest, and Hive team members were keen to see examples of the challenges that Hive will help overcome when it rolls out next year.

The Northern NSW Berry farm is one of Costa’s largest, and Hive team members were keen to see examples of the challenges that Hive will help overcome when it rolls out next year.

Top of mind for teams on site was how Hive will integrate with with Harvest Management Systems (HMS) and accommodate the flexibility needed to plan, track and execute employee movements to different areas and different tasks multiple times a day.

While final processes are still being worked through, the time on site has given the project team valuable insights into the challenges ‘on the ground’, which will help inform how Hive is configured, tested and trained on.

Sadly the wild weather prevented the Hive team from going through with a planned to trip to the Avocado operation at Fisherman’s Reach, with some roads in the region underwater in what’s been a prolonged and sometimes dangerous wet weather event in recent weeks.
