Testing update | Testing is one of the most critical phases of this project.

User Acceptance Testing

Real employees test hive against their day-to-day tasks. Issues are fixed and re-tested in a continuous cycle.

Who: Testers from Berries, Citrus & Grapes, Avocados & Bananas, Vertical Farming, CW&D and HR.

Exposure Testing

A broader group is introduced to hive to surface usability gaps before training begins — giving us early signal.

Who: HR representatives, subject matter experts and selected managers across multiple business units.

Systems Integration Testing

Confirms hive communicates correctly with other Costa systems — data flows without duplication or errors.

Who: hive project team, operational leads and system owners.

Payroll Testing

Parallel pay runs alongside previous Preceda pay runs to confirm hive calculates pay correctly for every employee type before go-live.

Who: Payroll team and the hive test team.
