Costa’s 2026 Graduate Program is now open for applications.
Our Graduate Program is designed for passionate, driven individuals ready to make a real impact in sustainable agriculture.
As a global leading fresh produce provider, Costa offers graduates the chance to work alongside industry experts, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop the skills to become future leaders in a sector that feeds the nation and supports regional communities.
Programs are over a 12 to 18-month period, providing an intensive hands-on and educational experience across our produce groups, departments, functions and locations across Australia.
Declan Portman completed the 2022-2023 Graduate Program and is now the Pre-Pack and Warehouse Assistant Manager in Mernda.
“The Graduate Program gave me the opportunity to experience a range of crop types and business operation roles, to enable me to identify what I wanted to do within the horticultural industry,” he said.
“From this opportunity with Costa, I was able to experience and learn areas of agriculture that extended out of my agriculture degree and join a large network of likeminded individuals who want to push the industry forward for sustainable farming.”
In our Rotational Graduate Program, individuals will participate in three rotations across three different regions and business categories, and will gain exposure to a multitude of produce (e.g. citrus and grapes, avocados, bananas, mushrooms, tomatoes and food safety and quality).
In our Category Graduate Program, individuals will gain different experiences and/or rotations within one function or produce category, whilst being provided with the opportunity to explore different career options. Upon successful completion of the Category Graduate Program, individuals are likely to be well positioned to take on an ongoing position within the specific produce group or function.
Permanent (specialised) Graduate Positions are ongoing graduate roles in one of Costa’s categories. As a specialised graduate, individuals are likely to kick-off their career with a dedicated set of responsibilities – under the guidance of experienced staff members.
Hands-on training on our farms or corporate environments, coupled with investment in leadership and development training ensures our graduate programs and positions are engaging, educational and rewarding.
